CARD – Birthday Boy | Stamp Day Designs

Here’s a quick and fun masculine birthday card to get your creative wheels turning today … enjoy!

I started with an A2 card base of Tangelo Twist, and added a panel of Bermuda Bay, topped with another panel of Birthday Bash Specialty DSP. I found a perfectly sized piece of Whisper White in my scrap pile, so I decided to just go with it. I stamped the bunting image four times (Night of Navy, Tangelo Twist, Bermuda Bay, and Crushed Curry), alternating the angle each time, to make it look like they were strung back and forth around the panel. Then I added the “Birthday Boy” sentiment and another panel (behind), both in Night of Navy.

I started to assemble the card and thought it was still missing something, so I added a bit of 1/8″ Crushed Curry Taffeta Ribbon. That didn’t quite do it for me, so I busted out my banner punch and coordinating stamp set (stamped in Night of Navy, Tangelo Twist, Bermuda Bay, and Crushed Curry again).
